Year 2 visit the Seaquarium

The Year 2 children enjoyed a wonderfully sunny day for their end of topic trip to Seaquarium in Weston-Super-Mare.

They have been studying "Oceans and Seas" this term, so the visit enabled them to see some real sea creatures that they had only previously seen in books or on the computers. They also learnt some new information about life in rock pools, which was presented by Anne from Seaquarium. 

As an added bonus on the sunny day, they enjoyed their picnic lunch on the beach, then walked along the new pier and finally ate their ice creams on the promenade.
