Queen's Chemists show their mettle

Queens' gained its greatest ever haul of Chemistry Olympiad medals this year with Tom Howe and Michael McLeod gaining Gold awards, Thomas Wu and Joe Thorpe gaining Silver and James Baker gaining Bronze.

Two and half thousand of the best sixth form Chemistry students enter the Olympiad and a gold places Tom and Michael in the top two hundred in the country.
