Space Exploration

The Year 6 children recently visited the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth. This proved to be a memorable visit, allowing the children the chance to learn more about our solar system and outer space and giving them the chance to see the Observatorys three historic working telescopes in action. The trip ended with a fascinating talk on the night sky in the planetarium.

Many thanks must go to Mr O'Donnell who organised the trip - the children all thought it was out of this world!
