Scholarships and bursaries at Queen’s College have the linked roles of encouraging the most talented young people to choose this school and simultaneously helping to ensure that fees are not an overwhelming obstacle to taking up a place at Queen’s.
Bursaries are means-tested against family resources and are intended to help families with financial difficulties meet the cost of school fees. They may be used to “top-up” a scholarship or be awarded on a stand-alone basis.
Facts & figures
The total number of scholarships and bursaries, plus the percentage discounts awarded, is at the Headmaster’s discretion. Dates for exams, tests and auditions will be published at the beginning of each academic year. Further details, including guidance on performance levels required to be eligible for a scholarship are available from the school office.
