Head's Welcome

Welcome to Queen’s College Junior School.

Children, parents and visitors are always struck on first arriving at Queen's by the friendly welcome of staff and children. One of the reasons most frequently given by parents for sending their children to Queen's is the caring, intimate atmosphere of the school,  "Each child is known by all the staff and treated as an individual."  Pastoral care is a great strength of the school.

We aim to find areas in which each child can succeed, thereby developing the self-confidence and self-esteem that will help them achieve their potential.

I believe that our pupils benefit from a truly rounded education; academic work is at the core of what we offer but we make sure that there is time for music, drama, sports and activities, as well as free time for the children to pursue their own interests and friendships. I believe that this approach adds tremendous value to our children's education, not just academically but also in their personal development. We have high expectations of our children and work hard to ensure that they leave us as balanced individuals, prepared and enthusiastic for their career in Queen's College Senior School.
