Child Protection

All parents need to understand that Queen’s has a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children who are their pupils/students, that this responsibility necessitates a child protection policy and procedures, and that the school may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare.
Mrs Gill Watson is the Child Protection Officer (CPO) for the Senior School, Mr Justin Backhouse is the CPO for the Junior School, and we have a designated Governor, Mrs Deborah Perreau. We have policies and procedures in place.
