Foreign Exchange Visits

From October 2009 adults who are providing ‘care and accommodation’ for foreign students on an exchange will be required by law to be ISA registered. At the moment it is a ‘recommendation’ only that hosts are CRB checked. If one parent is taking responsibility for providing ‘care and accommodation’ then this is the only person who needs to follow this procedure.

As the hosting is voluntary and not profit making, there will be no fee for a check and registration (see HM PA for forms).
