Foreign Exchange Visits

From October 2009 adults who are providing ‘ care and accommodation’ for foreign students on an exchange will be required by law to be ISA registered. At the moment it is a ‘recommendation’ only that hosts are CRB checked. I f one parent is taking responsibility for providing ‘ care and accommodation’ then this is the only person who needs to follow this procedure.
As the hosting is voluntary and not profit making, there will be no fee for a check and registration ( see HM PA for forms)
