Queen’s College, Taunton, is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the South West of the country, educating approximately 780 boys and girls from age 0 to 18.
Resident Sports Graduate (Female applicants only)
Fixed term for one year (term time only, but weekend work during this time is required)
£10,000 - £12,000 plus on-site accommodation is provided.
We are seeking an enthusiastic female sports graduate with a passion for coaching to support our Sport & Physical Education department in the teaching of PE and Games and in the coaching of our sports teams.
The successful candidate will be expected to offer expertise in at least two of the college’s major sports (hockey, netball, tennis, athletics and swimming).
Residential sports graduates are expected to make a full contribution to the co-curricular life of the school and fulfil other roles which may arise in the delivery of the curriculum in a busy boarding school.
This is a residential position and the successful candidate will also take on the role of a Residential House Tutor in one of the girls' boarding houses. We are, therefore, only able to accept applications from female candidates.
This opportunity would suit someone considering a teaching career, and the post is for one academic year in the first instance.
