Queen’s College, Taunton is seeking an inspirational, enthusiastic and passionate Netball Coach to join our Sports Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is driven to develop young players, think creatively and inspire a genuine love of the game.

You will deliver engaging and well-structured coaching sessions for pupils across the school, supporting those discovering netball for the first time as well as those developing their skills in a competitive environment. You will also play a key role in the early development of our netball academy, bringing energy and innovation as you help shape an ambitious and growing programme.

You will play an important role in building confidence, teamwork and game understanding, helping to create a positive sporting culture built on commitment, respect and enjoyment.

We are looking for a coach who is innovative in their approach, confident in working with young people and has a strong knowledge of netball. A recognised coaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can inspire pupils of all abilities and contribute positively to our busy and ambitious sports programme.

Domestic Staff

Queen’s College is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Domestic Team over the summer period.

Working under the Domestic Manager, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness across the School, including classrooms, boarding houses and communal areas. Duties may include cleaning, tidying, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, waste disposal and reporting maintenance issues.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Reliable, trustworthy and flexible
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Committed to high standards with good attention to detail
  • Aware of Health & Safety practices

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided.

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused School Minibus Driver to join our transport team, delivering high‑quality home‑to‑school transport for our pupils. Our drivers play a crucial role in ensuring every journey is safe, punctual and comfortable, consistently upholding the highest standards of professionalism and pupil care.

You will be operating within a vibrant and recently refreshed fleet of school minibuses, maintained to an excellent standard to support safe and efficient transport operations.

The Applicant must hold a valid D1 category driving licence with no more than six penalty points, and ideally have previous experience in a similar role along with a good knowledge of local routes and transport networks. A strong commitment to safeguarding and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils and parents are essential.
