We are fortunate in the Junior School to have a specialist Drama teacher who as well as teaching class based drama, runs very popular Speech and Drama lessons. As well as the opportunity for one-to-one tuition, group lessons covering speech, voice production, verse speaking, reading, play reading and the use of English are held in small groups during the week.

Pupils may take LAMDA exams and are encouraged to enter for the Taunton and Somerset Speech and Drama Festival where they have the opportunity to perform alongside children from other schools. A joint music and drama production is held annually involving a large cast.
