Queen's College Pre-Prep and Nursery School aims to be as supportive as possible for working parents by offering a flexible school day in terms of drop off and pick up times. We offer both before and after school care in a safe environment, with qualified staff who are able to stimulate the children with fun, play activities as well as providing quieter, ‘calming down’ moments for those who are tired at the end of the school day.
Wrap-around care is available for Nursery School and Pre-Prep children with activities such as Lego, puzzles, construction toys, and board games. Children who are tired are able to watch a DVD or listen to stories. More formal after school clubs (3.30 pm – 4.15 pm) run by the staff for children in Years 1 and 2 are free, voluntary and vary from term to term. To download a list of the clubs we have run recently please click here.
When the weather permits, children may play outside in our playground before coming inside to enjoy Story and Book club which runs every day from 5.30pm – 6.00pm.
For parents who need child care during the holidays, the children’s activity organisation, Ultimate Activity, uses Queen’s College facilities. For details of their activity programmes please go to www.UltimateActivity.co.uk or telephone 0844 870 7077.
