Model United Nations

Run by the Sixth Formers at Queen’s, Model United Nations (MUN) is an extremely strong society with members from Year 9 through to Year 13. Simulating actual United Nations situations, students attend conferences at other schools throughout the South West, acting as delegates representing a specific nation or person through committees. Not only does MUN improve debating skills, MUN teaches diplomacy and presenting an argument as well as informing students about issues from around the world.

The Sixth Formers have also started QuMUN – an annual conference held at Queen’s, which over 15 schools from across the South West attended this year. To see QuMUN in action, please see the video below.
