Whilst we all look forward to the Queen’s College community being together again as soon as we are advised to, at this time we must all do everything we can to protect the NHS and comply with government guidance to control the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Closures of organisations, isolation and social distancing restrictions, while necessary, create inevitable challenges.
Everyone at Queen’s remains fully committed to delivering excellence and will continue to work tirelessly to support the teaching, learning and wellbeing of our pupils, throughout this challenging period.
Daily online, curriculum specific lessons are being made available by our subject teachers via Classcharts in line with the usual academic timetable and we recommend that, as far as possible, pupils should follow their timetable and structure of the day. If you are experiencing any issues accessing online lessons, please contact your tutor in the first instance.
In addition to online work being set, listed below are some additional resources which may be useful for staying busy at home over the coming weeks.
With significantly increased amounts of time being spent working on digital devices, please remind yourself of how to stay safe online.
The links below will provide information, advice and support with a range of issues - it’s important to take care of your well-being and emotional health, particularly during times of isolation and reduced social contact.
Please reach out if you need support
Our Student Support co-ordinator, Mrs Bex Jones, will be issuing a weekly update to students while our Chaplain, Mr Tim Aldridge, will continue to deliver his Chapel presentations (now online) and is also holding regular student 'Chats With The Chaplain' - to book slots, email firstname.lastname@example.org
This page will be updated and resources added from time to time.
