An introduction from the Head of Prep
At Queen’s College Prep, we are proud to offer a warm, friendly and happy environment where every child feels safe, supported and known. Relationships lie at the heart of all we do, and our high staff-to-pupil ratios allow us to give every child the personal attention they need to flourish. From the moment a child joins us, they become part of a close-knit school community where they are encouraged, challenged and inspired to be the very best version of themselves.
Our broad and balanced curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and develop essential life skills. Alongside strong academic foundations, children enjoy rich opportunities across sport, outdoor education, food and nutrition, creative arts and more. We’re proud of our excellent facilities which support learning across the curriculum – whether that’s developing resilience on the climbing wall, teamwork on our sports pitches, or life skills in our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen. We want our pupils to leave us not only well-prepared for the next stage of their education, but ready to thrive in the wider world beyond school.
Queen’s is a place where childhood is valued, individuality is celebrated, and families are welcomed as part of our community. Our Methodist ethos underpins everything we do, promoting kindness, respect and a strong moral compass. We expect a lot from our pupils, and in return they achieve great things. It is a joy to see them grow in confidence, character and capability and it’s a privilege to play a part in their journey.
I do hope you enjoy exploring the Prep School pages of the website and look forward to meeting you soon!
