The Queen’s Hall Theatre at Queen’s College is a versatile venue, seating up to 570 guests in tiered seating and equipped with an extendable stage, full lighting rig, and sound system. The space is ideal for various shows and productions, with optional technical support available for events. The theatre also features a spacious foyer with a bar area, cloakrooms, and a kitchen with a servery, creating a comfortable and well-equipped setting for both performers and audiences alike.

The Wyvern Hall, located within the main historic building of Queen’s College, has served as both the School Chapel and Great Hall. This versatile space seats 112 guests on tiered seating for lectures and smaller performances, or up to 120 for dining events. With a sprung floor, Wyvern Hall is also used as a performing arts space, accommodating ballet and other forms of dance, making it a unique and adaptable venue steeped in tradition.

Adjoining the Wyvern Hall is a smaller conference room that is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages, has its own small kitchen area and can accommodate 24 people seated at the tables or 50 in theatre style seating.

The Old Music Room, a stunning original feature of the main building, boasts excellent acoustics and retains much of its historical charm. With a capacity of 80 for lectures or presentations and up to 50 for dining, it serves as an ideal setting for social gatherings or musical soirees. Whether hosting an intimate event or a more formal occasion, the Old Music Room provides a unique atmosphere that enhances any experience.

Queen’s College offers two dedicated, fully floodlit AstroTurf pitches available for hire, including a full-size hockey pitch that can be divided into two smaller pitches, as well as a full-size AstroTurf suitable for football, tennis, and hockey. Additionally, our Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) is a recent enhancement to our sports facilities, providing an all-purpose, all-weather option for a variety of sports. All Astro pitches are equipped with floodlighting, ensuring optimal playing conditions for both day and night activities.

Our fully heated indoor swimming pool accommodates up to 25 swimmers, featuring a depth of 1.3 meters at the shallow end and 2.2 meters at the deep end. Measuring 18 by 7.8 meters, it provides an ideal space for both recreational and competitive swimming activities.

The Wyvern Roost is Queen’s College’s brand-new coffee shop, located in the heart of the grounds and offering stunning views of the expansive sports fields. Its welcoming, modern interior features comfortable seating and ambient lighting, making it an ideal spot for guests and parents to gather, rain or shine, while supporting each other. The coffee shop includes a sheltered outdoor area for enjoying drinks on the balcony, along with a widescreen TV and surround sound that showcase select live sports fixtures and documentaries throughout the year. The Wyvern Roost is available for table and full bookings, serving as the perfect venue for meetings, clubs, socials, and after-parties for college productions and events.
