There are two options for the Pre A Level Programme depending on English ability. Both options ensure full integration with British pupils both in lessons and in the boarding house. Pupils will also have the opportunity to partake in up to 10 hours of Co-Curricular activities per week.

We are one of the top academic schools in the South West and our pupils consistently achieve top grades at GCSE and A Level. Queen’s College has a 99% A Level pass rate, 43% of pupils achieved A*-A grades.
Many of our pupils continue their education at prestigious Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.

Queen’s College was proud to celebrate our pupils significantly outperforming the national average in 2024, with almost two-thirds of results graded at A* to B. Pupils of Queen’s College celebrated a 100% pass rate in 20 different subjects in 2024, including Biology, Business Studies, Further Maths, and Physics, and especially strong results in English Literature, Art, Music, Textiles and Computing. Sevin achieved outstanding A-Level results, with grades of A*A*A*A* and an A* in his EPQ and a Distinction in AEA Maths. He will be continuing his academic journey at Imperial College London, where he will study Mathematics and Computer Science. During his time at Queen’s, Sevin earned a Gold Award in the Physics Olympiad, demonstrating his exceptional aptitude in the sciences. Beyond academics, Sevin has been deeply involved in co-curricular activities. He played a key role in the Queen’s motorsports programme, racing the Greenpower electric car on tracks across the country, including the iconic Goodwood Circuit. Sevin also excelled in performing arts, taking on the lead role of Valjean in last year’s production of Les Misérables. Sevin’s achievements both inside and outside the classroom embodies the school’s motto “We learn not for school, but for life”.
Angela - Seven Grade 9s
One of the top GCSE performers in 2024 was Angela, who achieved seven grade 9s amongst her GCSE results, including a grade 9 in English Literature – in her second language. Angela is studying A Levels at Queen’s Sixth Form in Maths, Business Studies, English Literature and Art.
