Queen's College Taunton Live Comedy Event Headlined By Emmanuel Sunobi

Following a first event described as “a great atmosphere and hilarious jokes”, the series continues to grow, delivering high quality stand up in a setting that feels more like a night out than a typical comedy event.

Staged in Taunton’s largest theatre, a 500 seat venue just minutes from the town centre, the night brings the scale, energy and atmosphere of a national tour to a local stage. From the moment you arrive, the focus is on the experience, giving you time to settle in, enjoy a drink and be part of the room.

With a full lineup of comedians, two interval breaks and drinks available throughout, the evening is designed to build from start to finish, creating a shared experience that lifts with every act.

“It was a great line-up and really well organised. Would definitely come back to another one”

– Steven Ashbury

Joining Emmanuel is UK touring comedian Matt Green, whose debut tour ‘That Guy’ played to sold out audiences across the country. Having performed across Australia, Singapore and Europe, Matt brings a high energy mix of sharp observations, personal stories, audience interaction and quick witted improvisation to the Queen’s Hall Theatre stage.

Completing the lineup is Carly O’Connor, a warm, bubbly and natural storyteller whose comedy draws on family, friends and everyday life, delivered with charm and big laughs.

The evening will be hosted by Ian Murphy, back by popular demand after helping make the first Comedy Live at Queen’s such a success.

If you are planning a night out with friends, organising something different with colleagues or simply looking for a guaranteed laugh, book now and join us for a brilliant night of live comedy in Taunton.
