A Level Exam Results

Outstanding A Level results at Queen’s College Taunton - 100% pass rate in over 20 subjects, top university destinations, and a Sixth Form that prepares pupils for life.

Queen's College Taunton Head of College, Julian Noad

“These results are a testament to our pupils’ hard work and resilience, and to the dedicated staff who support and challenge them. Statistics alone do not tell the full story of young people who have embraced their Queen’s education and now leave us well prepared ‘for Life’. We are incredibly proud of the academic outcomes, but also of the well-rounded young people they have become.”

Julian Noad, Head of College

At Queen’s College, we were proud to celebrate another year of outstanding A Level results, with our pupils once again significantly outperforming national averages.

This year saw 100% pass rates in over 20 subjects, including Business Studies, Economics, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and many more. Exceptional achievements were also seen across the arts and vocational subjects, with pupils excelling in Art, Food Technology, Outdoor Education, and Drama – a true reflection of the breadth and balance of our curriculum.

As a proudly non-selective school, these results tell a remarkable story. Every pupil is supported and challenged to achieve their personal best through expert teaching, individual guidance, and the High Performance Learning approach that runs through every aspect of school life.

Our Sixth Form offers a broad and flexible pathway to success, combining A Levels with vocational qualifications such as BTECs and Level 3 Diplomas. The Queen’s Diploma, unique to our Sixth Form, helps pupils develop the life skills, confidence, and independence they need for university and beyond.

Queen’s leavers go on to study at prestigious universities across the UK and overseas, with destinations this year including the USA, the Netherlands, and Germany. These results reflect not only academic excellence, but also the curiosity, resilience, and kindness that define a Queen’s education.
