There was such an incredible achievements, atmosphere, and stunning scenery at the Ten Tors event over the weekend.
Queen’s is extremely proud of the pupils that took part for displaying such hard work and determination. The Ten Tors is no easy undertaking but is an experience that will undoubtedly be remembered by those who took part for the rest of their lives.
Ten Tors, the largest Defence run youth engagement in the country, marked its 60th challenge this year, 2400 young people trekked across Dartmoor on Exercise Wyvern Tor over the weekend, putting their physical and mental resilience to the test.
The teams navigated routes of 35 or 45 miles (depending on age) over the Northern half of Dartmoor, visiting ten nominated tors / check points in under two days. The teams had to be self-sufficient, carrying all that they need to complete their route and stay out overnight safely.
