Osa Eribo (Deputy Head Girl)

I’m Osa and I joined Queen’s in Year 7 as a day student from Parkfield Primary School. I enjoy baking, music, sport and performing arts. In the summer, I performed in the Tempest by Shakespeare at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A fun fact about me is that my passion for baking helped me start selling cakes to people for celebrations, for example birthday cakes. I am currently taking Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Art at A Level and hope to do Medicine next year in university. My favourite memories at Queens are performing in the Year 9 High School Musical Production and our Year 11 Prom.

Toby Carlson (Deputy Head Boy)

I’m Toby, and I’m the 3rd in my family to go through Queen’s after my older brothers. A Taunton boy born and bred, I’ve been at Queen’s since I was 2 years old. Since then I have taken up lots of hobbies, including playing the saxophone, hockey, canoe polo, and stage management for the school plays. I’m also the undisputed best pool player in the sixth form, as I’m sure the others would all agree! My current A-Levels are Music, Religion, Ethics & Philosophy, And History, and I hope to take Music at university. Some of my favourite recent memories at the school have been the Summer Ball last year, and the year 11 prom, both of which were really fun!

Edie

I’m Edie and I am the Head of House for French this year. I’ve been at Queen’s since Year 7, and have loved being here. I really enjoy getting involved with sport, especially badminton and hockey, as well as many of the performing arts productions. Over the summer I even performed as the lead role of Prospero in the Tempest at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. For A Levels, I’m studying French, History and Business, with a view to study International Business and French at university! A couple of my favourite memories have been completing the 45 mile Ten Tors challenge and also being team captain and winning the QuBEc Cup last year at Queens! I’m really looking forward to this year and being head of house!

Ella Tytler

I’m Ella and I joined Queen’s in year 9. My most time consuming hobby is horse riding, where I compete with my horse Henry in eventing, although I also enjoy baking. We have quite a lot of pets including sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs and a silly little chihuahua. I am studying biology, chemistry and geography and have wanted to become a vet since I could talk. I don’t have one particular favourite memory at Queen’s as I’ve enjoyed it all, however completing Ten Tors in year 9 was a big achievement. I’ve recently been learning to scuba dive which is really fun!

 Maeve Kennen

Hello, I’m Maeve and I have been at Queen’s since I was 10; I’m now 17 and head of Barnicott House! For my A-Levels I picked Biology, a BTEC in sport and the recently added BTEC Outdoor Education. I used to be majorly involved in performing arts within the school but in recent years have swayed towards the sport and outdoor activities. I have loved my time at Queens, doing Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE as well as many other exciting adventures. After Queens, I plan on taking a year to work abroad teaching watersports followed by a degree in Paramedic Science at university. I can’t wait to enjoy my last year at Queen’s and hope it doesn’t fly by too quickly!
