Posted: 24th January 2023

The hard work of all our pupils at learning high meat skills with local, wild, fresh pheasant, venison and partridge in Food Preparation and Nutrition classes has been once again recognised with Queen’s College being represented in the finals of the national ‘Eat Game Awards’.

We are again through to the top three Best Educators out of all schools, colleges, and further education establishments in the UK in the national Eat Game Awards for our food teaching and promoting the use of game in school and consequently Queen’s College, Taunton officially remains the Best School in the UK for teaching about Game!

Mr Mann, Head of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Food, said, “a huge thank you to all those who voted. We are absolutely delighted that Queen’s College has made it to the finals again for such a prestigious national food award that recognises the fantastic culinary achievements and nutritional learning of all our pupils. We are also very proud to represent Taunton once again at such a high-profile national award ceremony in London.”

The ultimate winner in this category will be announced at a star-studded awards dinner on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
