Our Year 6 pupils were in for a treat, with an exciting African drumming workshop with Marion from Fab Drumming. The infectious rhythms and vibrant culture created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The students dove headfirst into the world of djembe technique, mastering not only the intricate hand and wrist movements but also the crucial skill of playing together in harmony. It offered a great opportunity to practise their HPL empathetic attitude, as teamwork was absolutely the name of the game for the entire session.
Year 6 proudly showcased their newfound drumming skills to Pre-Prep and parents, who enjoyed every second!
