Year 2 Outdoor Education Morning at Staple Hill

Year 2 Outdoor Education Morning at Staple Hill

Posted: 8th February 2024

An action-packed den-building adventure took place for Year 2 earlier in the week.  The children worked on their HPL (High Performance Learning) skill of Empathy, to collaboratively build dens using only materials found in the woods.  They showed good teamwork and listening skills during the task.

It was fabulous to hear the children demonstrating another HPL  attitude of linking, they linked this task to their previous learning in Science about the basic needs of humans.
