In November the girls took their Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) Primary, Grade 3, Grade 5 and Intermediate Foundation ballet exams. The girls did extremely well, gathering 5 distinctions and 5 high merits between them. Mr Noad and Mr Matthews were very excited to hand out the student’s certificates in their chapel and assemblies last week, along with their RAD graded badges, as can be seen in the first two photos.

You You, who took her Intermediate Foundation exam, has now gathered extra UCAS points in taking this vocational ballet exam and received a high distinction for her work. This is such a great feat by You You, as the vocational exams require a much higher level of technique, musicality and performance than the normal R.A.D graded pathway, therefore the resulting in stricter marking too. You You can use these UCAS points when applying for university places next year.

We are extremely proud of all the students who participated in the exams and feel that their high results speak volumes in relation to their hard work and effort. Some very happy dancers!
