Saturday’s Faculty Extension sessions (open to scholars and others by invitation) proved very successful, with once again great variety on offer.
Year 7-9 pupils explored Humanities and Maths, solving the real life mystery of the girl who disappeared into the Peruvian rainforest, only to emerge 11 days later. They then had a session on ancient Egyptian mathematics.
Year 10 & 11 pupils were exploring the genre of science fiction through different mediums in a cross-over between the English and Science faculties.
Year 12&13 also explored Humanities and Maths, having to problem solve with the ‘Prisoner’s Dilemma’ and were then looking at (and recreating) world trade.
