Our pupils achieve great things every day and this term they have been shining both inside and outside of the classroom! This term, we celebrate achievements in fly fishing, piano, art, swimming, fundraising, and trampolining. From county-level competition to artistic endeavours, our pupils are demonstrating dedication, talent, and a commitment to personal growth. Read on to be inspired by their incredible accomplishments!

Top Rod Fly Fishing Competition

Max (Year 11) participated in the Snowbee Top Rod Fly Fishing Competition at Hawkridge Reservoir. Max was bagged up by 11am, catching his 5 fish limit including his first Spartic He came 3rd for best fish at 3lb 12- well done Max! This term he has laos been training at Graftham Waters Cambridgeshire with the England Fly Fishing team. 

Grade 1 ABRSM

Congratulations to Alex (Year 5) for passing his Grade 1 ABRSM Piano over the Easter holidays. 

Royal Academy Young Artists Summer Show

Some of our pupils have entered into the Royal Academy Young Artists Summer Show! They have all worked incredibly hard and should be proud of their pieces.

Swimming Success

Many congratulations to Jemima in Year 6 who recently competed in a club championship and came away with an amazing thirteen medals! Including two Golds! Jemima who swims for the school and is one of our swim captains also gained seven county-level times which means she can now attend Somerset County events. Jemima has made fabulous progress with her swimming in the last year.

100 Push Ups a Day

Congratulations to Joe in Year 9 for completing the 100 Push-Ups a Day Challenge, every day in April! He has raised an amazing £186.20 for life-saving research for Cancer Research UK. Joe expressed that he had such a great time completing the challenge that he has been continuing on through May!

Trampolining Success

Earlier this month, Evan and Isaac (Year 1) competed in the Tony James Cup trampolining competition held in Abertillery, Wales. Both boys won their categories, Novice 1 and 10 bounce respectively, showing huge progress in the execution of their skills since their last competition.
