Queen’s Year 6 students gathered for a morning out on the Quantock hills for their John Muir award. Named after the father of modern conservation, the students of Queen’s visited the highest point of the hills at Wills Neck where they completed a nature survey of flora and fauna, as well as a litter pick. These actions go a long way to ensuring that the area remains beautiful as one of our national landscapes and gives our young people an appreciation for not only visiting, but caring for our wild places locally and afar.
