Year 7 enjoyed a sunny day out on the Quantock Hills on Tuesday. They walked up from Crowcombe Village and admired the beautiful views on the way. After a quick flapjack snack at the top of the hill, it was straight off to complete some fieldwork activities including; field sketching, measuring footpath erosion and looking at the formation of a ‘V’ shaped valley. Pupils then enjoyed a picturesque walk down through Holford Coombe and were able to observe the changes which occur to the valley sides and river channel on the way down. Well done to all of Year 7 who were a delight to have out on the hill.
