School House
School House has been brimming with festive spirit over the past couple of weeks. On Saturday night, the boarders enjoyed their Formal Christmas Meal, a delicious three-course dinner that was followed by a lively disco in the drama studio.
Sunday saw the boarders exchanging thoughtful gifts during a Secret Santa exchange, a fun activity that brought everyone together and highlighted the kindness within the house.
This month School House have enjoyed a number of festive activities such as an annual trip to Clarks Village, where the boys indulged in Christmas shopping, tasty treats, and an exciting ice-skating session. Despite a few tumbles on the ice, the boys returned with smiles and stories of a memorable day out.
Cotlake House
Cotlake House has embraced the lead-up to Christmas with enthusiasm. The house has been beautifully decorated, and the children have enjoyed festive activities like making (and eating!) gingerbread houses.
The celebrations culminated on Monday night with the Cotlake Christmas Supper, a delightful occasion filled with delicious food and festive cheer. The evening included heartfelt goodbyes to Guillermo, who is heading home to Spain for warmer weather, and some lively party games organised by Mr. and Mrs. Duke and Miss Wessells.
A big thank you goes to the Cotlake staff for their care and dedication, and to the boarders for their fantastic energy and spirit throughout the term!
Salvation Army Gift Donations
Boarders from School House and Hutton House have demonstrated the true spirit of Christmas by collecting gifts for disadvantaged children through the Salvation Army. The generous collection of presents will be delivered to the charity to ensure that children in need receive something special this Christmas.
Hutton House
The girls attended the formal dinner on Saturday night. Hutton also celebrated the festive season with a cosy Christmas party in the Sixth Form Centre last week. The evening featured pizza, relaxed attire, and plenty of laughter, providing a lovely opportunity for everyone to unwind and enjoy each other’s company.
