Year 6 Kip at Cotlake

Year 6 Kip at Cotlake

Last Friday saw the second Kip@Cotlake of the school year when some Y6 pupils joined the boarding house for the night.

After supper in the main school dining hall, the evening entertainment consisted of switching between table football, pool and gaming before they settled down to watch a film, of course with the obligatory popcorn and tuck!

Slightly bleary eyed from perhaps an earlier than normal wake up on the Saturday morning, this definitely didn’t affect their appetites as they tucked into breakfast before being whisked away by parents for the rest of the weekend at home.

All the day pupils fitted in really well to the boarding house and seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves! It was a pleasure having them visit us.

Flexi-boarding has become very popular recently, with more day pupils having short term stays during the week. With the end-of-year residential trips coming up in the summer term, staying in Cotlake is a good way for children to get accustomed to staying away from home in a safe, familiar environment. Should you require further information on our flexi options and rates or would like a tour of Cotlake House, please do not hesitate to contact Henry Burlingham (Cotlake House Parent) or the Prep School office.
