Year 3 pupils enjoyed an immersive Ancient Egyptian experience day, marked by fantastic costumes and engaging activities. The day began with a workshop from the South West Heritage Trust, where the pupils learned about Egyptian history and examined artifacts.
They participated in hands-on activities including baking Egyptian bread, painting scarab beetles, and conducting outdoor “Egyptologist” discoveries. Later, they had a mathematical challenge involving calculating cube requirements for pyramid construction, followed by creative pyramid poem writing.
The day concluded with a delicious Egyptian food tasting prepared by the school’s Head Chef!
