Due to an overwhelming amount of interest and high demand from aspiring apprentices, training providers, and families across Somerset, Queen’s College, Taunton is proud to announce the inaugural Taunton Apprenticeship Evening, set to take place on March 9th, 2027.

As a fully sponsored, 100% free community event hosted on the Queen’s College campus, this evening aims to bridge the gap between local education and real-world career success. The initiative brings together current and former apprentices, top employers, training providers, and local families for an engaging, insight-packed experience.

Why Taunton Apprenticeship Evening?

Finding an apprenticeship remains a fiercely competitive path, with some reports showing success rates as low as 0.7%. Meanwhile, UK youth NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) figures have reached post-pandemic highs of over one million young people.

Because we have gathered lots of interest, we are encouraging all aspiring apprentices, students, and families to register to claim their free tickets before release.
