We`re feeling particularly proud of our young cricketers at Queen’s this week! 🏏

We’re delighted to share that 12 of our talented young cricketers from across our Prep and Senior Schools have earned selection for the Somerset Cricket Pathway, spanning age groups from U10 right through to U14! 👏

With 10 of the 12 being in or having been through our Prep School, it`s fantastic to see the impact of our growing cricket provision, nurturing talent from an early age and supporting pupils as they progress through the school.

A special shoutout to our brilliant cricket team, Head of Cricket Arul Suppiah, Andrew Venning and Caroline Foster, who continue to help our young cricketers develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.

Earlier this week you joined us in celebrating our Senior School teachers, and now it’s time to celebrate our wonderful Prep School teachers!👏

A huge congratulations to Mrs Swanson, who has qualified as an HPL Teacher, and Mrs Hyland, who has achieved Expert HPL Teacher status! 👩‍🏫

These qualifications recognise their dedication to High Performance Learning and their commitment to helping every pupil develop the skills, confidence and mindset to achieve their personal best.

We’re incredibly proud to have such passionate and dedicated teachers inspiring our youngest learners every day.

A huge congratulations to Mrs Litton, Mr Bussell and Mrs Davey, from the Senior School, who have all achieved HPL Expert Teacher status, with Mrs Litton also becoming an HPL Teacher Leader.

High Performance Learning is built around the belief that ability is not fixed or predetermined and that, with the right teaching, challenge and support, every pupil can make progress and achieve their personal best.

Becoming an HPL Expert Teacher takes real commitment to putting that belief into practice in the classroom, so this is a fantastic achievement for all three.
