Now also open to pupils from external schools, classes are led by Queen`s specialist team, including our RAD qualified Head of Dance Miss Bryony. She is supported by specialist teachers with prestigious vocational training and degrees in dance performance and teaching🧑🩰
Pupils will develop their technique, confidence and performance experience, with opportunities to take examinations and perform in an annual Dance Show in our own 500 seat professional theatre🎭

It has been wonderful to see the six brand new panoramic canopied courts being tested ahead of the official opening of @smashpadel_taunton on Saturday 15 August.
The new courts will bring even more sporting opportunities to the Queen’s community when pupils return for the new school year, and we cannot wait to see them in action!🙌
🔗Bookings are now live, with free one hour introductory sessions available for adults and juniors through the Nettla app.

Last week, our Show in a Week camp brought The Lion King to the Queen’s Hall Theatre!🦁
More than 40 children aged 7-16 worked with specialist teachers and industry professionals to create an entire musical from scratch.
Across the week they explored every part of bringing a production to life, from acting, singing and dancing to designing costumes and masks, creating props, and working on lighting and staging. It was a full theatre experience, giving everyone the opportunity to discover what happens both on stage and behind the scenes🙌
The week ended with a live performance, showcasing just how much this talented cast had achieved in such a short time🎭

We are delighted to announce that Euan Paterson will be joining Queen’s as our new Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Head of Boarding from September!🙌
Euan brings a wealth of experience from a wide range of senior leadership roles, including Academic and Pastoral Vice Principal, Head of Sixth Form, as well as Deputy Headteacher at an international school in Uganda. He holds an MA (Hons) Educational Leadership and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
