Discover what life at Queen’s College could look like for your child.
Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a family. While prospectuses and websites can tell you a lot, nothing compares to experiencing a school in person.
At Queen’s, we believe young people achieve their best when they feel happy, supported, and confident to get involved.
Our Open Event gives you the opportunity to see Queen’s as it really is. Meet the people who make our community so special, explore our classrooms and facilities, and speak to current pupils about their own experiences. Whether you’re considering a day or boarding place, you’ll leave with a genuine understanding of what life at Queen’s is like and whether it’s the right fit for your child.

🎉 @bbcsomerset has named Mo in Year 9, as a finalist in the Young Hero category at this year`s Make a Difference Awards!
Last summer, Mo and his dad, Mr Speyer, Head of Science at Queen`s, took on an extraordinary challenge, cycling over 1,000 miles from John O` Groats to Land`s End. Carrying all of their own kit and camping along the way, they completed the journey to raise money for the charity @smiletrainuk 🚲
The cause was deeply personal. Mo`s younger sister was born with a cleft lip and palate, and together they wanted to help give more children access to the life-changing surgery and care they deserve.
Their incredible determination saw them raise more than £4,600, far exceeding their fundraising target, and it is wonderful to see that effort now recognised with a BBC Radio Somerset Make a Difference Awards finalist place🏆
Huge congratulations to Mo and Mr Speyer on this well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved, and wish Mo the very best of luck at the awards ceremony on 20th September! 💛

📚A first look inside the new Wiseman Study Centre...
Over the past few months, our brand new Study Centre has taken shape, and during our end-of-year celebrations families had the chance to step inside for the very first time.
While the building is now complete, it`s not quite finished just yet! The shelves are waiting to be filled with books, the finishing touches are still to come, and we`re working with a local library consultant to help create a space that will inspire curiosity, independent study and a lifelong love of reading📖
Even in its early stages, it`s easy to see the potential. Bright, modern and thoughtfully designed, the Wiseman Study Centre will become a welcoming place for pupils to read, research, collaborate and study for years to come, with thanks to the Queen`s College Foundation.
We can`t wait to share another update once it`s fully complete! 💛

Those were just some of the inspiring words Old Queenian Richard Browning shared with our pupils during his Speech Day address before taking to the skies in his world-famous Daedalus Flight Pack🙌
Richard returned to Queen`s to share his journey from pupil to entrepreneur, inventor and founder of @takeongravity, encouraging the next generation to challenge convention and pursue ambitious ideas💡
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for...
Watching Richard fly over the fields was an incredible experience, and a fitting reminder that today`s pupils could become tomorrow`s innovators🛠️
A huge thank you to Richard for returning to inspire our community. We know this is a Speech Day our pupils will remember for many years to come💛
