Last week, our Show in a Week camp brought The Lion King to the Queen’s Hall Theatre!🦁

More than 40 children aged 7-16 worked with specialist teachers and industry professionals to create an entire musical from scratch.

Across the week they explored every part of bringing a production to life, from acting, singing and dancing to designing costumes and masks, creating props, and working on lighting and staging. It was a full theatre experience, giving everyone the opportunity to discover what happens both on stage and behind the scenes🙌

The week ended with a live performance, showcasing just how much this talented cast had achieved in such a short time🎭

We are delighted to announce that Euan Paterson will be joining Queen’s as our new Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Head of Boarding from September!🙌

Euan brings a wealth of experience from a wide range of senior leadership roles, including Academic and Pastoral Vice Principal, Head of Sixth Form, as well as Deputy Headteacher at an international school in Uganda. He holds an MA (Hons) Educational Leadership and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

Please join us in giving Euan a very warm welcome to the Queen’s community!💛
