We are very excited to formally launch the student High Performance Learning (HPL) drive team this week. The team consists of students from all ages across the college, and we met for the first time on Wednesday where the team made a very positive start. We discussed how HPL has already been having an impact on students’ learning and how this could be improved further, especially in more exam-focused year groups where lessons understandably tend towards exam preparation. Looking to the future, we have agreed to meet twice every half-term, to enable us to set targets for the half-term and review how they have been implemented. Furthermore, we are excited at the opportunity to create content highlighting the innovative ways which HPL is being used across the school, as well as representing HPL at open events and college tours and assisting in its overall development across the college.
