Royal Navy and Marines Gymnastics Dinner and Awards

Posted: 1st March 2024

Lily was invited to be in attendance at the first ever Royal Navy and Marines Gymnastics Dinner and Awards on board the oldest commissioned ship in Great Britain’s Fleet, HMS Victory. To be invited onto this Ship for a formal function is a huge honour and privilege for the Gymnastics team, who also requested the attendance of Lily who was pivotal in designing their recent competition leotards and helped assist in their training camps for National competitions.

Lily was in the presence of the Gymnastics team, several Senior Officers and an elite member of British Gymnastics who is a British, European and World Champion competitor. A formal dinner was hosted on board the ship in the Senior rates Mess and the presentation for Colours were awarded on the Quarter Deck, in the exact place Lord Nelson was tragically killed by a fatal gunshot wound at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805; by the VIP.
