Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Ashford Education Centre this week. The children enjoyed collecting data from a section of the river before building dams in the water. A tour around the treatment works was particularly fascinating as they learnt about how water is collected and treated before it arrives in our home. A walk around the reservoir was a highlight as the children were able to observe a very newly born cygnet with its mother. The trip proved a super compliment to the Year 5 Humanities curriculum.
