Lego Robotics

3… 2… 1… Lego! Last Friday three Year 7 pupils and three Year 9 pupils competed in the First Lego League competition. This is a global competition that encourages 9-16 year olds to solve problems using skills in STEM subjects.

The team have been building and programming their robot over the past two terms along with an innovation project – an app that helps you dunk your biscuits for the perfect duration! The level of competition was high, but they still managed an impressive third place in the robot game. Their enthusiasm also did not go unnoticed as they came away with the Motivate trophy for their enthusiasm and team spirit.
