Prep pupils from Years 2 to 6 came together last week for an energetic and uplifting House performance challenge, creating their pieces in just four hours. Led with great enthusiasm by the Year 6 House Captains, the afternoon was filled with imagination, teamwork and plenty of laughter.
Each House brought something wonderfully different to the stage. Quantocks had towering paper Rapunzel wigs, while Brendons entertained with lively Tarzan and Jane partnerships. Blackdown impressed with songs in multiple languages, and there was even a touch of bear ballet! Smiles, creativity and a real sense of fun filled the hall throughout.
With such strong performances across the board, the judges had a very tough job. After much deliberation, Mendips were announced as the winners with their joyful rendition of How Far Will I Go.
