Queen’s College is looking for current and previous apprentices from across Somerset to attend our Apprenticeship Evening! We are offering an opportunity to be able to inspire the future generation of apprentices, network with other like minded professionals and educate parents, who are curious about the pathways their child may take.
About the Apprenticeship Event
It’s Official. Queen’s College, Taunton are hosting the first ever ‘Taunton Apprenticeship Evening’ on March 9th, 2027.
This community event will be FREE to attendees, being 100% sponsored by the hosts, Queen’s College, Taunton.
We are looking for apprentices to share their experiences with parents and students from across Somerset who are interested in finding out more about apprenticeship pathways.
With UK youth NEET rates reaching post-pandemic highs of over one million young people, clear pathways into the workforce have never been more critical. Events like this play a vital role in closing the gap- helping local students discover real, accessible alternatives to traditional higher education.
Finding an apprenticeship is notoriously difficult, with some figures showing as little as 0.7% of being successful in securing one. We would appreciate you sharing your experiences in support of the future generation of apprentices.
This has the potential to be Taunton’s apprenticeship event of the year! A rare opportunity to speak to apprentices from a wide range of industries, all in one place.
