We are looking for an accomplished pianist to join our thriving Performing Arts Department as a Piano Teacher and Accompanist.

The role involves delivering one-to-one piano lessons, accompanying pupils for exams, recitals and concerts, and supporting the wider musical life of the school. There may also be opportunities to lead small ensembles.

About you:

  • Skilled and experienced pianist, with proven teaching and accompanying ability.

Lead Driver 

Part Time – Term Time + 4 weeks (38 weeks)

Split Shift: 5 hours per day – 6:00am – 9:00am and 5:00pm – 7:00pm. (Exact timings subject to refinement).

We are recruiting a Lead Driver for a newly created role as the College brings its home-to-school transport service in‑house. This key position will support the effective, safe and compliant delivery of our transport operations. The Lead Driver will provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight of the driving team, while also undertaking regular driving duties on one of our home‑to‑school routes.

 

As Lead Driver, you will lead the driving team, upholding strict safeguarding standards for our home-to-school services, fostering a professional and safety-conscious culture.

 

Beyond team management, you will oversee maintenance for our passenger-carrying vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy, clean, and ready for service. Your oversight will ensure that all transport operations meet legal requirements and our own high safety standards.

 

This role requires high operational readiness, and strong problem-solving skills will be essential for optimum transport service delivery.

Multi Channel Marketing Apprentice

Join the marketing team at Queen’s College, a bold and creative school with a digital first approach. You will help shape how life at Queen’s is seen online, focusing on video, social media and digital content, while also gaining experience across the wider world of marketing. This apprenticeship is also about learning how to be a great asset in the workplace. You will be supported in how you communicate, how to take ownership of your own areas, and how to be a positive influence on everyone around you. 

Our team has a bold test and learn culture, which means you will be encouraged to try new ideas, experiment with different approaches, assess the results and learn from them, with no fear of failure. This hands-on role will help you build real skills, grow your confidence, and learn by doing in a supportive, energetic environment. We are looking for someone starting out on their journey who is curious, creative and ready to embrace the opportunity to learn and develop.

  • Create digital first content, especially short form video and social media, capturing everyday moments and stories from around the College
  • Film and edit videos for different platforms and learn what works for each platform
  • Write captions and short copy that feel natural and engaging
  • Share content strategically across Queen’s digital channels, thinking about the message, the timing and the audience
  • Support email marketing, including drafting and scheduling campaigns
  • Contribute to hero marketing campaigns, the biggest and most important campaigns of the year, with the chance to deliver real areas of work
  • Gain experience with our super visual brand, experimenting with creative graphics and visual content that is different to anyone else
  • Help manage the website, including updates and writing articles
  • Understand how data is stored safely and used to inform decisions
  • Review performance and audience insight to see what content connects
  • Experiment with new ideas, formats and creative approaches
  • Work closely within the marketing team and see what a modern marketing role looks like day to day

This apprenticeship gives exposure to all areas of marketing, with the freedom to focus on the areas that excite you most as well as those that support the needs of the College.

Grounds and Gardens Assistant

An exciting opportunity is available to join Queen’s College as a Grounds and Gardens Assistant within the Grounds and Gardens team. The role involves helping to maintain and enhance the entire school site, working closely with the Grounds and Gardens Foreman to ensure the efficient preparation and upkeep of gardens and sports facilities across the College.

Queen’s College is renowned for the high quality of its grounds and sports pitches, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the existing team to uphold these standards. Responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance, preparation and presentation of all garden areas to ensure the site is consistently well presented. The role will also involve contributing to the upkeep of the College’s extensive sports facilities, including seven rugby pitches, six cricket pitches and five multi-use games surfaces, all maintained to a high standard.

A professional, courteous, friendly and methodical approach is required as the role involves contact with staff, students, parents and visiting sports teams to the school.

Salary £12.60 an hour and a generous benefits package 

Queen’s College is seeking two reliable and proactive Evening Porter/Caretakers to join our friendly team. Working from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, you will play an important role in ensuring our College remains safe, welcoming, and well-prepared for the wide range of activities and events that take place each day.

The two successful candidates are needed to share the evening duties so to cover 7 days a week during term time from 5.30-10.30pm

In this varied and hands-on role, you will support staff across the College site, helping to create the best possible environment for our students and wider Queen’s community. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently, using initiative to manage and complete tasks efficiently
  • Prioritise daily workloads to ensure all duties are completed on time
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both in person and via email
  • Conduct security checks during late shifts to ensure buildings and the perimeter are secure
  • Lift, move, and set up furniture or equipment for events, room changes, and refurbishments
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks
  • Distribute internal mail, parcels, and temporary signage
  • Assist with the unloading of large deliveries
  • Support colleagues with heavier cleaning duties, including floor scrubbing/polishing and moving furniture as needed
  • Respond promptly to accidental spillages

Requirements

  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
  • A practical, adaptable approach with the ability to work confidently on your own
  • Good communication skills and a high level of reliability
