An exciting opportunity has been created for an Art Graduate to work alongside and support the Art staff in the delivery of all elements of the Art provision at Queen’s College, both in Senior and Prep.  This role is also residential and will involve carrying out boarding duties including co-curricular activities within the Art department.

Queen’s College is seeking a hard working and dedicated Specialist Learning Mentor (Cognition and Learning) , passionate about supporting children with SEN, to become an integral part of the Learning Support team. 

This rewarding role will see you play an important part in shaping the inclusive educational journey of the children and young people at Queen’s, creating a warm and stimulating environment where they can flourish. 

Working as part of a specialist team, the successful candidate will provide personalised support for individuals and small groups of learners with SEN across the college. With support from the SENCo they will develop and deliver high quality learning opportunities that empower independence and develop sustainable skills. 

Experience in providing maths/numeracy interventions would be an advantage.

We are looking to recruit a Resident Boarding Assistant for one of our Senior boarding houses. The role is responsible for supporting the Boarding Houseparent in all matters relating to the pastoral welfare of the pupils in their care. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of residential community life in a caring environment.  They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be organised and flexible.  This is a non-teaching role, but the successful candidate will be required to get involved in a pupil-facing role during the school day. 

This opportunity provides real insight into working in an Independent School, with the aim of developing skills and experience to potentially pursue this as a chosen career.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to assist in the smooth operation and development of the College by dealing with day-to-day maintenance tasks and various project works and to provide repair and maintenance support to colleagues. Working within the Estates and Maintenance team, the successful candidate will need experience of a variety of different trades.

We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, honest and versatile person with the ability to problem solve. They will be capable of working under pressure and with conflicting priorities and timescales.

A professional, courteous, friendly and methodical approach is required as the role involves contact with parents, suppliers, staff, students and other visitors.
