Queen’s College, Taunton is seeking to appoint an inspiring and committed PE Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a proud sporting tradition and a strong reputation for developing confident, well-rounded pupils through sport and physical education.
Sport is central to life at Queen’s, with all pupils from Reception to Sixth Form actively involved in our extensive sports programme. From regular Saturday fixtures to elite athlete support, we provide opportunities for all pupils to thrive — regardless of age or ability.
We are looking for a teacher with:
- Experience teaching both practical and academic PE across all key stages, including GCSE PE and/or BTEC and/or A-level
- Expertise in at least two of the school’s major sports: rugby, hockey, netball, athletics, tennis, swimming, or cricket (rugby especially desirable)
- Energy, drive, and a passion for encouraging sport for life
- The ability to inspire pupils of all levels and contribute positively to our team of dedicated sports staff
