At Queen’s College, hockey is a central part of school life. Playing in a kit that looks smart and feels comfortable helps pupils approach each match with confidence, pride, and determination. With opportunities to train and compete at a high level, pupils at Queen’s benefit from expert coaching and the chance to be part of a thriving hockey programme that supports both performance and enjoyment.

Behind the new kit lies a special story of community. The team’s look has been made possible thanks to support from Jackson-Stops, an estate agency with offices across the South West, “offering a wealth of experience and knowledge in the prime property market.” This partnership is particularly meaningful, as Jackson-Stops Director Marcus Browne is an Old Queenian, as is his wife Emily. With one of their children already at Queen’s Nursery and his youngest soon to join, Marcus’s family connection to the school made this an especially fitting collaboration.

Head of Hockey, Jack Knight, said:
“It’s fantastic to see our First XI girls stepping out in their new kit. The players feel proud, comfortable and ready to perform – and that’s a huge part of their hockey experience. We are really grateful to Jackson-Stops and Mizuno for making this possible.”

Michelle Hancock, Director of Development, added:
“A key part of my role is building relationships with Old Queenian’s, so it’s wonderful to see Marcus supporting the College in such a meaningful way. Partnerships like this really show the strength of our community, and it’s a pleasure to see alumni and their families getting involved with school life again.”

Marcus Browne, Director at Jackson-Stops, said:
“Queen’s is somewhere that has given us, as a couple, so many happy memories. Saying yes to sponsoring the team was the easiest decision, and we are delighted to be able to give back.”

Queen’s College extends its thanks to Jackson-Stops for their generous support, and to Mizuno for producing the outstanding kit that helps pupils enjoy sport to the fullest.
