Queen’s pupils have once again achieved national recognition at the highest level following a prestigious and star-studded evening at the Eat Game Awards 2026, held in central London last night.
The awards celebrate excellence in the promotion, preparation and education of wild British game, and we were immensely proud to see the outstanding work of our pupils showcased on such a prominent national stage. Through their learning in Food Preparation and Nutrition, our pupils have developed exceptional culinary skills using locally sourced, wild ingredients including pheasant, duck, partridge and venison, demonstrating both technical excellence and a deep understanding of sustainability.
In a hugely competitive national field, Queen’s was selected as UK finalists for the prestigious “Best Influencer and Educator Award”, placing us at the very top nationally and on stage as the best Independent school and further education establishments in the country.
To be recognised at this level is an exceptional achievement.
Representing Queen’s on stage, Mr Mann stood alongside BASC Operations Coordinator Toni Paull, and once more well-known celebrity television presenter Adam Henson during the ceremony, an incredibly proud moment and a fitting recognition of the pupils’ achievements in front of a national audience.
Mr Mann commented:
“A huge thank you to everyone who supported us. We were absolutely delighted to represent Queen’s and to be recognised as the very top independent school in the country at such a prestigious national awards ceremony. This achievement belongs to our pupils, whose passion, commitment and skill in the kitchen continue to be truly exceptional.”
This recognition reflects not only the remarkable culinary achievements of our pupils, but also the lasting skills and knowledge they gain, learning for life through food, sustainability and innovation.
It was a truly memorable evening and a fantastic celebration of Queen’s on the national stage.
